The HVACR industry is transitioning to low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants as required by the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol. It is therefore imperative that heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry technicians across the globe are prepared and assessed to ensure the safe handling of these next-generation refrigerants, which are flammable, toxic, or both, and pose a risk to technicians and building occupants.

The Refrigerant Driving License (RDL) is being offered to governments wishing to organize RDL group testing sessions in their countries. It is available in English, French, and Spanish.
